MAHJ 102: GUIDED PLAY

Come sharpen your skills and experience the game in a supportive, hands-on environment!

Perfect for those who have completed MAHJ 101 and are comfortable with tile identification and the basic rules of the game, this 2-hour guided play session is designed to help beginners build confidence and independence in their gameplay! (we do not play in pairs).

An instructor will be present to provide a quick review and guide the room through setup, the deal and the Charleston. The instructor will float around the room, be available to answer questions that arise and offer guidance as needed.

If you have one, please bring a current NMJL Card to this class.

note> This session could have up to 20 participants, though that is not typically the case. Should you need a lot of hand holding and instructor attention, it may be best to repeat Mahj 101 or to book a Private Group Lesson.

Session Highlights:

  • Perfect for beginners familiar with basic rules and tile identification

  • Instructor guidance to get games started, with support available throughout

  • Focus is on independent play with opportunities to ask questions as needed

  • A fun, low-pressure environment to practice and reinforce your skills

Please bring the current NMJL Card (published each April) if you have one.
