"We recently experienced a loss of a close family member. With all the planning that had to happen quickly we were feeling under a lot of stress. We were worried about where to host the Celebration of Life. We wanted to have a location that wasn't too small or too dark. Thank goodness a friend suggested Boone Station Hall. The building has undergone a dramatic transformation. The light coming in the soaring windows offers a light and cheerful atmosphere. The facility is spotless and fully accessible. There is a full kitchen and the staff set up tables for us. There is an outdoor patio that proved invaluable due to our worries about COVID. People were able to mill around outdoors and still be part of the gathering. Having such an uplifting venue for people to gather and talk, eat and tell stories made the day a warm and memorable celebration of life.
